Crested Butte - Things to do in the Winter
Aside from enjoying "Colorado's Best Corduroy" and riding our legendary "Extreme Limits" terrain, Crested Butte has a variety of activities the whole family can enjoy. Offering moonlight snowshoe tours, relaxing spa treatments, fabulous shopping in downtown, exciting dogsled rides and plenty more, your Crested Butte has it all. Sleigh Ride Dinner. Enjoy a truly unique dining experience where half the fun is getting there. Ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snowcat to the backside of the mountain, and there you will dine at the Rustica Ristorante in Paradise Warming House. Enjoy a tantalizing four-course dinner featuring a full bar and handpicked wine list to complement the evening. Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area. Cross Country Skiing. The Nordic Center is the hub of recreational activity in the town of Crested Butte. Experience the beauty of the Gunnison Valley with 45 kilometers of track groomed for classic and skate cross-country skiing or guided backcountry tours. Ice Skating. Bundle up in your warmest wool and ride the free town shuttle to the Big Mine Ice Rink in the town of Crested Butte. At the outdoor rink at the Nordic Center, you can practice your spins, jumps, or just skate in circles. Skate rentals are available.
Dogsled Tours. The Iditarod-style dogsleds at the Lucky Cat-Dog Farm allow aspiring mushers to venture into Crested Butte's backcountry. Adventures include morning rides and lunch rides, complete with hearty soup and home-baked bread. So bundle up, and get ready to do some exploring.

CB Zone. Stop by the CB Zone for foosball, pizza, video games, and movies in the lounge! The CB Zone is a cool place to be young and have fun. Located on the lower level of the Treasury Center, the CB Zone is open daily from 11am to 9pm.
